Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with research interests in Applied Microeconomics, Public Economics, and Labor Economics.

My work

I am an applied microeconomist with research interests at the nexus in public economics, labor economics, development economics and applied econometrics. In the past, I have worked on research on climate change, environmental economics, and public health.

Background

Prior to moving to Madison, I was a Research Fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank and a Research Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action. I hold a master's in Economics of Public Policy from Barcelona School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Costa Rica.

I also am a Graduate Research Fellow at the Institute for Research on Poverty (IRP)
